Scientists use blocks principle to make the oldest computer rebirth

Recently, scientists using the "building blocks" principle of reconstruction of the world's oldest computer, so that the station more than two thousand years of history antikythera computer has been given new life.
The world's oldest computer - from 2000 years ago, it was scientists found in the seabed. Currently, Andrew Carroll, the designer through the "building blocks" this sets the world's oldest computer given new life.
This does not mean the project is child's play, to complete the design needs a special "building blocks", and lots of patience. The design concept came from a journalist Adam Rutherford, Carol before he saw the construction of the "Babbage difference engine", and the resulting inspiration.
"antikythera " is an astronomical computer, built in 150 BC, 1900, the task of fishing in antikythera shipwreck was found, then the mechanical complexity of its scientists feel surprised. The reconstruction project was carried out many times, culminating in Carroll superb technology, the first building block type structure used copy in it the world's oldest computer.
Antikythera computer can add, subtract, multiply and divide operations, able to develop the calendar, showing the location of the sun and the moon. This computer has a dial that can predict when the solar eclipse or lunar eclipse may occur. It also considered the moon's elliptical orbit. It is unusual in that, the Greeks have been able to create such a sophisticated technological device and is made of metal. Model shows that antikythera  computer installed in a wooden container with 37 gears, engraved with the movement of celestial objects outside the relevant text.
